I have an unfair advantage. I get to test many, many new items all the time. I took this Portable Gooseneck Clip On Lamp to a guild class last Saturday for the Ultimate Test. I’ve taken classes in this room before and know if you don’t get a seat on the window side of the room you can end up in someones shadow. I clipped this lamp to the back of my extension table so the light was coming from the right hand side to the needle. I was impressed with the result. My eyes didn’t fatigue. My brain sure did though. Even better it’s small, so it fit in my bag (Suitcase) and it didn’t look like I was bringing my entire sewing room. (Pretty close though). The light is battery operated so I wasn’t hogging prime electrical plugs, but It will work with an adaptor. There are levelers on the bottom of the clamp too so you can use them to balance the light on a table of that works better. This lamp is available on our web site
